My name is Dan Hennessy and I live in upstate New York.  I consider myself very fortunate indeed to be a customer of Gerry McMullen and a recipient of his great training.  I have purchased a Gold Bug II as well as 2 additional coils from Gerry and am happy with all my purchases. He has fair bargain prices and is very quick at shipping his quality products.

In addition, I participated in Gerry’s formal training at Rye Patch, NV and an excursion to Ganes Creek, AK during 2005.  I admit it; I am a hard head.  I thought I could do it all by myself.  For my first nugget hunt out West I planned took a trip to Arizona for 10 days and was totally skunked.  In March of 05 I took a remedial training trip to Nevada with Gerry and after just a couple of days he had me finding nuggets…small ones but still nuggets. Many of us have bad technique.  I chronically keep my coil too far from the ground.  Gerry picked up on this up right away.  I also had problems with ground balancing my machine and target recovery.  You are just wasting your time if you do not use the right technique! Gerry is more than willing to transfer his knowledge to you. He has an effective low key friendly style of training.

Even on his trips to Ganes Creek (not formal training) he is always there to help when needed and to encourage you to do better.  The .7 ounce nugget shown was found by this rooky in June 05 with my Gold Bug II and optional 14” coil that Gerry recommended specifically for the AK trip.  I have progressed from “skunked” to small nuggets to this  “lunker” in a period of two trips by my association with Gerry.  I am obviously a very happy customer.  Thank You Gerry !
