Here are the results of the Father/Son team who went back to Rye Patch, NV. last week with their Fisher Gold Bug-2's. They found over 80 pieces of gold and a few of the nuggets were in the .5,.6,.7 and up to .8 gram in size.  For those folks who think Rye Patch is hunted out??? I assure you that it is not and will not be for quite some time. Even though I usually do not run the VLF's at Rye Patch much myself anymore because I am after the larger nuggets.. I have to admit that I was quite impressed with what they did. The 1st day was 40+ pieces and then 20+ on the second with the patch getting cleaner each day.  It is good to see that even new detectorists with just one outings of experience be able to find such a great amount of gold.
