Most of the time, the dealer you buy from cannot offer you real in the field training.  A previous (out of town) detector owner, who had not much prior success, decides to purchase a days worth of training from me, hoping to learn the detector and its secrets to success.  I selected an older house a few blocks from my business that I had seen being worked on.  A quick conversation with property owner and we had permission.  After some time of me running the machine and him listening with the splitter cord that allows both of us to run one machine, he had an idea of what to do.
